Buena Vista Bash

Round 2 of the LASN Golf Tour takes the 101 north to Ventura. Buenaventura is a flat, tree-lined muni a few blocks from the beach — tight enough to punish a wild driver, short enough that a hot putter wins the day. Bring a partner. Pick the best ball. Costumes optional, encouraged, and not a valid excuse for slow play.

Format: 2-player scramble, gross scoring. No handicaps in play — your team handicap just decides your division. Top half of the field is Division A, bottom half is Division B. Every team is playing for LASN Standings points toward the February playoffs, and Div B can steal a 20-point bonus by beating the worst Div A score.

Side comps: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Bonus Hole, and Putt on Demand ($1 entry, 30 feet, pot rolls over until somebody drains it). 50/50 raffle at the turn.

Prizes: Division A and B winners take home the LASN Golf Champion 1/4 zip.

Tees: Blue for everyone, White for 60+, Red for women.
