The Tierra Rejada Open
Tournament Description

LASN Golf Tour — Event #1: Tierra Rejada Golf Club

Saturday, September 19 · 2-Man Scramble · Fall/Winter Season Opener

The LASN Golf Tour is back. We kick off the 2026–27 season at Tierra Rejada in Moorpark — a Robert Cupp design that winds through the hills of Ventura County with elevation changes, big greens, and a few risk-reward holes that make scrambles fun. It's a great opener: playable enough for newer teams, but plenty of teeth for the low handicaps.

The format: Grab a partner and play 2-man scramble — both players tee off, pick the best ball, and play from there until you hole out. Two separate divisions based on team handicaps with Gross Scoring.

New teams welcome. No handicap? No problem. First-timers get a team handicap set after the front nine (1.5× your score over par), so you're competing on level footing by the back.

Why this one matters: This is the first of five monthly tour events, plus the LASN Masters double-points major in Palm Springs. Every event pays season points — 100 to the winning team, and 20 just for showing up — and the top 16 teams on season points earn a spot at the LASN Cup Las Vegas in March 2027, split into Division A and B by handicap. Miss the opener and you're chasing from day one.

What's included: Green fee, cart, range balls, tee prizes, closest-to-the-pin and long-drive contests, and post-round drinks and awards at the clubhouse.
